We have just spent a week with the students of the first year at the ESACM art school of Clermont. Our workshop was based around evolution and ways of letting external influences shape an artwork. The students played some extended versions of drawing games that we have developed in the past and by the end of the week had invented a few new ones. They then developed individual or collaborative projects based on protocols, mutations, hybrids, changing forms and differing interpretations. We have put all the drawing game images up on our flickr account and we have documented the week's work on an ESACM workshop blog.
